Aboriginal Culture
In traditional Aboriginal life, animals were hunted for food and clothing. Little was wasted - teeth and bones were used to etch carvings and make j jewellery, and fur was made into clothing. Animals play a key role in the Dreamtime stories and songs that are handed down from one generation to another. Dreamtime stories explain how the land and animals were created.
